Our Projects, Your Opportunities

A core idea behind EnviroTech is that the nation increasingly lags in meeting ambitious national targets on sustainability and climate change. This gap will be met in part by marshalling the private sector to deliver on large-scale development and deployment of technologies. We help to build the supply chain for these large projects, opening opportunities for your idea or firm to become part of that chain.

The (Community-Scale) Climate Change Risk Mitigation Project. This project began through discussions with colleagues at DECC, DEFRA and other national organisations, discussions that made it clear the U.K. is far from delivering on climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. This is largely because national initiatives and policies must eventually be translated into commercial decisions, coordinated across many sectors. Your opportunity: Become part of the supply chain for delivery in collaboration with government programmes.

On-Line Community Consultations. 2Cs, through their division Consense, helps you reach a broader audience for your plans and projects. Their innovative Open Debate system involves more of the community in project proposals in an accessible, interactive and auditable way. And it works - whilst the system encourages all sides of the debate to get involved, the majority of the online consultations run in support of clients' proposals. Your opportunity: Use Open Debate to help obtain community acceptance and planning approval.

National and International Advising. The EnviroTech staff are advising DECC, DEFRA, OFWAT, local authorities and other government offices both here and around the world. These advising positions, which include training on an array of energy and environmental issues, give us the chance to define the national and global agenda on sustainability and climate change. Your opportunity: To have a peek "down the road" as government policies emerge, and to have your voice heard in creating these agendas.

The SME Carbon Reduction Toolkit. This project is in collaboration with the Confederation of British Industries (CBI) and Business in the Community (BITC). It is aimed at providing resources to SMEs so they can improve their sustainability and reduce their carbon footprints. The primary resource is the ability to identify potential solutions; assess their cost-effectiveness; and then locate firms capable of delivering on those solutions. Your opportunity: Have your service or product become a resource for the plans of SMEs throughout the nation.
